Bag Allowance

I'm making a bag that will allow me to save some money. Hopefully. So Easyjet flights I'm about to take cost about as much as the baggage allowance for a carry on case. which is ridiculous. £40 each way added on just to be able to have a small suitcase with you. Nah. I can squeeze everything I need for a long weekend in a bag that is no bigger than allowed 45x35x20cm handluggage. At least that's the challenge. So this bag has been cut roughly to those dimensions. A bit narrower as bags always bulge. And it's made of fabric that I love and has been sitting in my stash for a year now. Time to use it up.

It looks like furnishing fabric, with a bit of give. I've stiffened it with some iron on heavy interfacing that was left over from my craft projects. Now to add on all the pockets I need, and the lining.
