I am always amazed at so many people still saying they do not know how to sew on a button. So instead they throw away the whole garment. If at all conscious about environment, they donate it to local charity shop. But most clothing goes in a bin, and unless it is a natural fibre (cotton, wool, linen) it will take literally decades to decompose.
So here's a solution. Learn how to sew the button back on. It's a skill anyone with functioning fingers can master. I promise.
Click the link to see how.
Extra Tip
You can jazz up a garment by changing the buttons to a different colour! Just make sure the new buttons are the same size as the old ones, or they will not fit through the existing buttonholes.
Happy sewing! ☺️
